A rich Sonoma Pinot Noir sourced from a 25-year-old vineyard nestled on a gravelly bench along the Navarro River in Anderson Valley, California. The wine reflects the unique terroir of this site, offering depth, concentration, and a dark fruit profile balanced by vibrant acidity. It's the richest in DuPuis' 2020 lineup, with 13.5% alcohol, yet maintains an elegant vibrancy, thanks to the cool-climate magic of Anderson Valley. DuPuis is the latest venture of Wells Guthrie, a name synonymous with the California wine revolution, particularly his Copain label. In 2016, Wells embarked on a new chapter, drawn to a remote site in the lofty heights of Anderson Valley. Here, he established a 40-acre mountain-top estate, enveloped by redwood forests and graced with olive groves, with his 7-acre estate vineyard just steps from the winery.
