Récolte Blanche is a stunning sparkling wine, crafted entirely from Chardonnay by Grower Champagne icon Davy Dosnon. The fruit comes from a selection of the finest sites in the Côtes de Bar, where vines grow in soil remarkably similar to that of Chablis. Fermented for ten months in used Puligny-Montrachet barrels, the wine aged sur lies for a further twenty-four months in bottle. Very similar to a white Burgundy but with the added touch of bubbles, this is a powerful, rich and complex Champagne with an entirely unique character. Expect fresh and fruity notes of white and yellow fruits with lovely concentration and a subtle floral touch. On the palate it's textural, layered and energetic.
On the palate, it is fresh and elegant, developing in intensity and juiciness as time goes on. Well-structured with a delicate perlage; flavours of lemon, grapefruit and brioche dance across the palate and lead to a long, lingering finish.
