Clos des Corvées de Citeau is a monopole vineyard in Meursault, owned exclusively by Domaine Chavy-Chouet. Originally owned and farmed by the Cistercian monks of Burgundy, the walled site is defined by a unique micro-climate that encourages early growth and ripening. The 65-year-old vines are planted on rich clay soil and produce one of the estate's finest wines.

Elegant and well-defined, with subtle notes of toasted bread, citrus and yellow fruit. The palate is creamy and fleshy, with vibrant energy carrying through to a long, lingering finish.

Fermented with native yeasts and matured for 12 months in mostly used French oak barrels.

Enrolling at wine school aged just twelve years old, Romaric honed his craft during apprenticeships at prominent wineries like Domaine d’Aupilhac and Radford-Dale. Having... Read More >>
