France > Northern Rhône > Saint-Joseph

This Saint Joseph is meticulously crafted by Natacha Chave from certified organic vines near Tournon in the south of the appellation. Sister of famed winemaker Yann Chave, Natacha left a life of academia to craft biodynamically and organically grown wines in some of the Northern Rhône's greatest terroirs. Dark crimson in colour with alluring dark fruit flavours of hints of spice, this is an excellent example of the Saint Joseph appellation.

On the nose, notes of dark plums and gentle violet abound

On the palate, flavours of plums and blackberries are layered with hints of floral notes and gentle oak flavours.

Drink within the next 10-15 years.

Try pairing with roast leg of lamb and rosemary potatoes.

Aléofane translates as a “gem of truth” and is a reflection of Natacha’s expression of Syrah. She made her first vintage... Read More >>
