Ronceray is another outstanding cuvée of Chenin Blanc from a master of the variety, Cédric Bourez. Crafted at his estate in the Anjou, Ronceray is one of more refreshing bottlings made at Clos Galerne, delighting with its light fruit character and saline tough.
On the palate, intriguingly bitter with a taut, saline, and waxy finish.
Drink now, or age for up to two decades.
Grown in sedimentary, rhyolite soils with vines of an average age of 20-years-old .
Pair with oysters, langoustines with garlic butter, or scallops on a bed of leeks.
