Run by brother and sister Alberto and Caterina Burzi, Burzi is a small, artisanal estate in La Morra crafting elegant wines with great purity of fruit and a strong sense of place. Its holdings include some of La Morra’s finest sites, such as La Serra and Capalot, with vines up to 80 years old.
Their Barbera d’Alba 'Plaustra' offers a lighter, fresher take on the variety. Fruit-driven and juicy, it opens with notes of red cherry, bramble, violet and spice, while the supple palate is lifted by Barbera’s mouth-watering acidity. Refreshing, energetic and wonderfully versatile at the table.
