Thomas Morey is one of the Côte de Beaune's finest winemakers, achieving world-wide renown for his stunning cuvées crafted in the southern corner of the Côte de Beaune. Though best known for his Chardonnays, his Pinot Noirs are defined by their impressive depth and alluring structure. This Vieilles Vignes Santenay is sourced from 70-year-old vines planted on stony brown limestone soils, reminiscent of the best sites in the Côte de Nuits. Concentrated yet ethereal, this red sings of dark red fruits and subtle spice.
On the palate, elegant yet structured with flavours of black cherries, black raspberry, and red currant. Lively acidity wonderfully balances the smooth yet grippy tannins.
