Acquired in 2017 by the Duncan family of Silver Oak from Oregon pioneer Dick Erath, Prince Hill Vineyards marks an exciting chapter beyond California. Perched high in the Dundee Hills, the estate’s vines sit above the fog line, rooted in the region’s distinctive red Jory soils - a setting that delivers both purity and precision. Meticulous vineyard stewardship translates into Chardonnay and Pinot Noir of exceptional finesse.
The wine opens with an elegant aromatic profile of citrus blossom and lemon verbena, layered with notes of brioche, white peach and honeysuckle. The palate is poised and textural yet beautifully lifted, with subtle warmth, hazelnut and gentle spice from French oak, leading into a long, finely etched saline finish.
