From the stony schist soils of Block 2 (Elms Vineyard), this Dry Riesling is all about nervy energy, drive and minerality. Thrilling now - crisp, focused and very food-friendly - it's also one to stash away, as it gains real complexity with time.
96/100 - A bouquet that begins with scents of white flowers and minerality, a fresh water stream, wet pebbles, then pure fruit scents of lemon and apple, lime and white flowers. Naturally dry with a backbone of acidity, flavours reflect the bouquet with a long finish. Complex, pure, ripe and utterly delicious.
