Bergeron is the local name in the Savoie for the well-known Roussanne grape - main component of so many great Rhône white wines. This cuvée was made by the family-run domaine André et Michel Quenard, who tend 22ha of organically farmed vines on the steep limestone scree of the Côteau de Torméry. 'Les Roches Blanches' is a beautifully refined, delicately floral, and refreshing Roussanne with aromas of nectarine, apricots, and crushed stones, as well as a distinct streak of refreshing acidity, too often absent from many of its Southern Rhône cousins.
On the palate, it's very elegant, balancing richness, freshness, minerality, and salinity. Long and persistent lemony finish.
