One of Jamie Kutch's most consistently acclaimed Pinot Noirs, this wine is crafted entirely from fruit sourced from the McDougall Ranch Vineyard, a cool-climate site at 400m just 5.5km from the coast. Powerful yet finessed, this is a lovely wine with loads of floral and smoky notes alongside beauteous touches of fruit.
95/100 - The 2022 Pinot Noir McDougall Ranch is a fabulous wine that brings together all the elements that make Jamie Kutch's Pinots so appealing. Bright acids and beams of tannin cut through a core of blue-toned fruit. Graphite, mint, white pepper and slate develop later, adding tons of complexity.
