Created in 1989, Ségla is easily one of the best and most consistently delicious deuxième vin on the market. And for more than 5 years now, Ségla has been one of our absolute best-selling wines.
While perhaps not as long-lived as the 2016 or 2018 Ségla, the 2017 already delivers plenty of pleasure, with lovely savoury complexity and soft, resolved tannins.
91/100 - The 2017 Ségla is soft, open-knit and quite pretty, just as it was en primeur. Sweet red cherry, tobacco, dried flowers, mint and new leather all grace this very pretty, nuanced Margaux. Floral aromatics and silky tannins add to the wine's considerable immediacy. This is such a pretty and enticing wine, especially for medium-term drinking. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous
