A blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah, this silky-smooth Vacqueyras offers lifted aromas of red fruit, mint and dried herbs. Farmed organically and made with a minimal-intervention approach, it is a well-balanced, full-bodied red with excellent structure and aromatic complexity. Sourced from a single parcel in the Petit Vallon de l’Oligocène, it’s an ideal partner for hearty vegetarian dishes as well as rich meat-based fare.
90/100 - Checking in at 14% alcohol, the 2022 Vacqueyras Fumitarde delights with pretty red fruit aromatics, mint and dried herbs. It is 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah, aged in a combination of old oak barrels and concrete.
