Long considered one of our greatest value offerings, this Sangiovese was made entirely from young Chianti Classico fruit, but labelled as plain Sangiovese; exceptional quality for the money. This wine is superbly balanced, offering a delightful combination of red cherry fruit and creamy vanilla touches that result in a wine which punches well above its weight. The perfect red for a weeknight pizza or spag bol.
On the palate, juicy notes of wild bramble fruit dominate, balanced by lively acidity and very soft tannins. Easy-going, uncomplicated, and joyful.
