Kistler Les Noisetiers Chardonnay 2023

Based in Sonoma County, Kistler Vineyards was established in 1978 by Mark Bixler and Steve Kistler, with a vision to produce exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines. They have a portfolio of ten vineyard-designated Chardonnay wines and four vineyard-designated Pinot Noir wines which represent some of California's finest expressions of these Burgundian varieties.

The fruit for this cuvée is grown on the sandy, Goldridge soils where the Russian River and Sonoma Coast overlap, primarily in the Vine Hill, Trenton Roadhouse, Dutton Ranch and Laguna Ridge vineyards.

92/100 - Kistler’s 2023 Chardonnay Les Noisetiers is rich and creamy in the glass, not to mention quite sophisticated. In this vintage, some of the nutty character (after which the wine is named) is more subtle than in past years. Lemon confit, white flowers and tangerine oil all grace the palate, building into an understated yet beautifully resonant finish.
