Dimitris Kissa represents the fourth generation of this family estate, based in the enchanting, mountainous region of Corinth in the Peloponnese. This is remarkable terroir, yet still largely underappreciated. At elevations of 750–900 metres, with cooling winds sweeping in from the Gulf of Corinth, the wines retain exceptional freshness and acidity, paired with relatively low alcohol and a vibrant, energetic character.

The name ‘Pentanemi’, meaning ‘five winds’, nods to the exposed, wind-swept nature of the estate’s mountain vineyards - where it often feels as though the breeze is coming from every direction, and then some.

Expressive and aromatic, the nose bursts with white peach, pear, preserved lemon and orange blossom. The palate is textural and mouth-watering, with fleshy stone fruit balanced by bright acidity and a saline finish.

Perfect as an aperitif or alongside seafood, fruit-led summer salads, light pasta dishes or Thai cuisine.

Pentanemi is a blend of 70% Savatiano and 30% Malagousia from two different plots. The Savatiano comes from lower elevation, older vines at around 200 metres providing the wine with structure and richness. The Malagousia comes from their high-elevation, dry-farmed vineyards at 800 metres, providing great aromatics and acidity. The wine is fermented at cool temperature to retain aromatic purity and spends three months on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks with periodic bâtonnage for added texture.
