Amélie and Charles Sparr are among the most exciting names in modern Alsace. Alsatian by birth, the couple comes from deep-rooted winemaking families. In 2017, they launched their own domaine, bringing together inherited terroirs, biodynamic conviction, and a distinctly modern vision. The result is a beautifully refined style of Alsace wine: dry, finely textured, and intensely expressive, with crystalline acidity and a strong mineral drive.
93/100 - This excellent Alsace pinot blanc combines impressive substance with good freshness and enough citrus zest aromas to be very animating, the little touch of tannin underlining this very neatly in then long, dry finish. On the nose, notes of ripe lemon, pear, white blossom and wet stone. On the palate, the wine is bone-dry, textural and long lingering, with fleshy fruit flavours lifted by mouth-watering acidity.
