Ktima Kissa Mikros Dromos Moschofilero Rosé 2025

Dimitris Kissa represents the fourth generation of this family estate, based in the enchanting, mountainous region of Corinth in the Peloponnese. This is remarkable terroir, yet still largely underappreciated. At elevations of 750–900 metres, with cooling winds sweeping in from the Gulf of Corinth, the wines retain exceptional freshness and acidity, paired with relatively low alcohol and a vibrant, energetic character.

The name ‘Mikros Dromos’, meaning ‘little road’, refers to the narrow, steep mountain track leading up to the vineyard. The cuvée is made from 100% Moschofilero - a pink-skinned, aromatic variety capable of producing fresh, expressive whites as well as complex, fragrant rosés if allowed some skin contact.

The nose is immediately captivating, with intense aromas of lychee and rose petal, gently reminiscent of Gewürztraminer, layered with notes of white peach, mango, mandarin and a hint of pink pepper. Textural and fleshy on the palate, the wine’s aromatic richness is lifted by bright, refreshing acidity and a saline, dry finish. Beautifully fragrant, this is a rosé like no other.

Perfect as an aperitif or alongside seafood, fruit-led summer salads, light pasta dishes or Thai cuisine.
