Burlotto has grown to become one of the Piedmont's defining wine estates, and this Barbera proves why. Fresh and vibrant, it's loaded with delicious flavours of black currant, boysenberry, violet and cassis. Consistent and long on the finish, with fine balance and a subtle grip of tannins on the long aftertaste.
90/100 - The 2022 Barbera d'Alba is deep, layered and expressive in the mid-weight style that runs through all the wines here. Succulent dark cherry, plum, mocha, spice and new leather are nicely pushed forward.
