Thomas Morey is no stranger to Chassagne-Montrachet, being the 10th-generation in a centuries long lineage of Côte de Beaune winemakers to call the commune home.
This 1er Cru comes from the famed Clos Saint-Jean vineyard, found on the hillside above Chassagne-Montrachet. Markedly floral, Morey's Clos Saint-Jean white sings with bright citrus notes and touches of crisp white orchard fruit. Sleek yet intense, this excellent Chardonnay is one of the best we've tried from this site in years. Already delicious, it will reward patience.
