When the Roberson team first tasted this wine blind, we couldn't believe the price. Its awe-striking aromas and flavours were reminiscent of bottles that cost three times as much. This Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from five plots of vines in the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet. Crisp with wonderful citrus and ripe stone fruits, rounded with great minerality and genuine terroir definition, the wine is vibrant and fresh. Just brilliant.
On the palate, beautifully concentrated fruit flavours of white peach, orchard fruit, and lemon confit with a wonderful midpalate presence. Round with a distinct minerality, this is wine shows fantastic depth given its definite freshness on the finish.

Lovely as an apéritif, you might also pair this wine with sole meunière or a buttery roast chicken.
