This Merlot-dominant blend comes from decades-old vines in the excellent value region of Lalande-de-Pomerol. Crafted by the always impressive team at Domaines de Moncets, Chambrun shines with delightful black fruit character and silky tannins reminiscent of those found down the road in Pomerol.

90+/100 - I loved the 2020 Château De Chambrun, a blend of 90% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon. Darker berries, graphite, crushed stone, and just a kiss of flowers emerges from the glass, and it's medium-bodied, with good ripeness, building tannins, and a great finish.
