Bright, fruit forward and zesty, this Zinfandel is hand harvested from select, sustainably grown old vine blocks ranging from 35 to 104 years old. Gently pressed, this wine goes through an extended fermentation to further enhance the delightful black fruit flavors that have made this irresistible wine Sobon's most popular and sought after offering. Spicy and fresh with accents of licorice and sandalwood, this red is medium to full-bodied with enticing aromatics and a smooth clean finish.
On the palate, concentrated flavours of redcurrant, tarragon, and black tea with delightful touches of oak character. Full bodied with chalky tannins and a lovely dose of acidity.
