Roederer Estate is the Stateside venture of the world-renowned and instantly recognisable Grand Marque, Louis Roederer. Based in Northern California's idyllic Anderson Valley, the cool, fog-shrouded vineyards of this region provide the perfect growing conditions for top quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Quartet is their estate blend, composed of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir from the estate's four distinct vineyards.
17/20 - Pale lemon in colour. Yeasty and saline nose with notes of ripe golden apple and lemon oil. Fresh acidity on the palate with well-integrated dairy, toast and cedar notes. Long autolytic biscuity finish that continues to develop. Absolutely delicious. It really needs some time in the glass to warm up and open to show its best.
