Grand Bateau is a white Bordeaux born from a collaboration between esteemed négociant Maison Barrière and Château Beychevelle. Produced since the 1980s, Grand Bateau is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc that displays all the complexity and nuance of great Bordeaux whites. Vinified in both used French oak and stainless-steel vats, it is bright and lively, bursting with aromas of fresh orchard fruit, gooseberry and citrus, alongside a subtle touch of vanilla. Delightfully refreshing, it is also surprisingly textural and creamy. Outstanding value.
On the palate, elegant and round with flavours of ripe yellow fruit and a subtle herbaceousness. Fresh, fruity, and textural.
