Gaja is amongst Italy's most fabled wine estates, and this superbly aged Barolo is another shining feather in their cap. Ethereal yet full-bodied, this Nebbiolo-dominant cuvée is produced from fruit grown in two of Barolo's greatest terroirs, La Morra and Serralunga. The elegance and power offered by these vineyards are critical in crafting a wine as stunning as the Dagromis, abounding with captivating and definitively Barolo-esque aromas and flavours.

On the palate, fresh and juicy with precise notes of small berries, pomegranate, and wild strawberries. The finish is mildly peaty, balanced by silky tannins.
A beautifully aged, decade-and-a-half old Barolo. Try pairing with braised beef short ribs in a red wine reduction, or wild boar ragu with pappardelle.
