Acid hits the tip of the sip, then comes the rocky, ashy minerality and an iodine-like seashore element, playing against the smashed currant and purple flower core.
95+/100 - The 2019 Syrah Estate has a medium ruby-purple color and slowly blossoming aromas of blueberry, blackcurrant, white pepper, powdered sugar and green olive, with touches of tar and violet coming forward with time in the glass. Medium-bodied with a chalky texture, it's bursting with violet-laced fruits and waves of refreshing acidity that call you back to the glass on the long finish.
