France > Southern Rhône > Côtes-du-Rhône

A blend of roughly equal parts Grenache Blanc and Clairette, this white from sibling duo Marie & Francois Giraud is a wonderfully bright, clean, and mineral-laden example of Côtes-du-Rhône. Grow in the sandy soils of Lirac, this blanc delights with touches of saline minerality, white orchard fruit, and ripe stone fruits.

On the nose, delightful white flower aromatics of hawthorn and lilac. Notes of peach also abound.

On the palate, vibrant and mineral with a wonderful tension between acidity and depth. Delicious fruit flavours of white pear and dry mango dominate alongside attractive saline nuances and a touch of vanilla.

Best enjoyed in its youth, drink this over the next 2-3 years.

Excellent as an apéritif, consider pairing alongside light French cheeses or fish in white cream sauce.
