Alice and Olivier de Moor have long since emerged as pre-eminent leaders in the natural wine movement, having spent decades crafting pure yet imaginative wines in their small cellar in Chablis. 2022 is the debut for this cuvée, a blend of Sauvignon from Saint-Bris, skin contact Aligoté, and Bourgogne Chardonnay. Fruit-forward and ripe, this elegantly textured white sings of tangerine and white peach, alongside a fascinating mineral streak. Entirely unique and unlikely to ever be made again, snap up a bottle or two while you can.
On the palate, textural and elegant, this white is alluringly chalky with a distinctly mineral edge and touches of spice.
