The cuvée Les Rogelins comes from the oldest vines of the property, yielding small bunches of extremely concentrated fruit. The wine was matured for four years in 500-litre French oak barrels before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Among Clotilde's wines, Les Rogelins has the longest ageing potential.

Based in the picturesque village of Varrains in the Saumurois, Domaine Clotilde Legrand draws on a lineage of vignerons stretching back centuries, among the earliest recorded producers in the region. The first female winemaker in her family, Clotilde now farms 16 hectares of Cabernet Franc organically, along with a small parcel of Chenin Blanc. The vines average 45 years of age, with the oldest plots dating back to 1937.
