Since its inaugural 2010 vintage, Porseleinberg has risen to claim a place among the world’s most compelling expressions of Syrah. Perched atop a remote, schist-laced ridge above Riebeek-Kasteel, the vineyard gives the wine its name and its unmistakable character.

Powerful yet poised, Porseleinberg is defined by its firm tannic backbone, savoury depth, and striking aromatic lift, with the structure to age beautifully over time.

95/100 - [...] It has an outstanding nose with fragrant raspberry, wild strawberry, rooibos and light bay leaf scents that blossom in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with finely chiselled tannins, a dash of cracked black pepper intermixed with Five Spice and used tea leaves.
