Located high up in the Alps on the slopes of the Côteau du Tormery, the Quenard domaine has long been considered one of the Savoie's finest. Dedicated to organic farming and traditional vinification methods, they benefit from a uniquely warm microclimate that allows for optimal ripening of their fruit. Named in honor of the 'vitis allobrogica' grape mentioned by Pliny nearly 2000 years ago, which is now believed to be genetic forerunner of Mondeuse, this is a refined and sun-kissed iteration of Mondeuse. Young and bold with deep and vibrant notes of blue fruit, this is the perfect accompaniment for any hearty meal.
On the palate, invigorating acid and smooth tannins provide a well-balanced experience distinguished by blue fruit flavours and hint of pepper on the long finish.
