Chavy-Chouet's 'Les Femelottes' Bourgogne Blanc is essentially Puligny-Montrachet in disguise. Nestled within the village limits of Puligny, this vineyard is just a stone's throw from some of the most sought-after terroirs for white wine. It's a hidden gem, missing out on the village classification due to those old-school appellation rules, but don't let that fool you. An amazing bargain (better than many Puligny-Montrachets costing double) Les Femelottes is a rounded, expressive wine of exceptional flavour and class.
Ripe apple and citrus flavours; medium-bodied with a smooth texture; lovely, clean, fresh finish.
Les Femelottes is the product of a single vineyard, made by the brilliant Puligny-based Chavy-Chouet.
