France > Provence > Bandol
Provence rosé from the finest sites in Bandol. This is a vibrant and refreshing wine, that offers abundant food pairing potential. A Sommelier's rosé!

91/100 - Very delicate aromas. On the palate, dark, sour cherries, crunchy, sour redcurrants and intense blackcurrants all carried along by impressively vibrant acidity. A firm saline minerality gives typical Mourvèdre and Bandol structure. However, it is the fresh fruit and lively acidity which makes this a very modern Bandol style and particularly accessible when young. - Elizabeth Gabay MW, Decanter

Dry, crisp, subtle rosé; lovely red berry fruit balanced by excellent acidity and freshness.
A hint of salinity and a slight bitterness on the finish create a particular length.
Rosé from Bandol usually commands a handsome premium, but Maubernard's is exceptionally well-priced.
Predominantly Mourvèdre with a splash of Grenache and Cinsault.
Drink while it's as fresh, vibrant and refreshing as possible.
Delicious with light pasta dishes, spicy cuisine or grilled fish.

When Fabre retired, he purchased a 10 hectare estate in the hills a mile above the Bandol coastline and built his home. When his daughter... Read More >>
