The wine is deliciously refreshing yet textural, with partial skin contact and oak ageing adding extra dimension: smoky, savoury notes alongside appetising grip and volume. A beautifully gastronomic take on Sauvignon Blanc - and great value too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e17\/20\u003c\/strong\u003e - Smells like lime curd and tastes, unexpectedly, and rather gorgeously, of blood orange. So far, so not very Sauvignon. Some ripe gooseberry notes, though, with lovely tarragon and lightly roasted fennel seeds playing through the fruit. Sorrel notes. A real wash of cleansing, bracing, enlivening acidity.
